Backstreet Boys Announce 2025 Summer Tour With No Netflix Documentary Plans
The Backstreet Boys are back again—and this time, they’re hitting the road for a brand-new tour in summer 2025. The iconic pop group announced this week that they will launch a massive international tour starting in early June, thrilling longtime fans with the promise of an “incredible experience” across major cities in North America, Europe, and Asia.
The tour, titled the Backstreet Summer Nights Tour 2025, marks their first major outing since wrapping up their DNA World Tour in 2023. It also comes as the band celebrates over 30 years together in the music industry. Despite fan speculation, the band has confirmed there are no plans for a Netflix documentary to accompany the tour.
In a statement released to NME, member AJ McLean said, “We’re focusing entirely on the music and the live experience this time. No cameras following us backstage—just us, the fans, and the music. We wanted to bring it back to the core of what we do best.”
The tour kicks off on June 5th, 2025, in Los Angeles, California, before heading to Chicago, New York, Toronto, and several other major North American cities. European dates will follow in July, including shows in London, Paris, Berlin, and Milan. The group will close out the summer leg in Tokyo in mid-August.
Tickets will go on sale beginning May 15th, with fan presales starting two days earlier. VIP experiences—including meet-and-greets, soundcheck access, and exclusive merchandise—will also be available.
Brian Littrell added, “We’re so grateful for our fans who’ve been with us through the decades. This tour is for them—nostalgia, new memories, and all the hits they love. From ‘I Want It That Way’ to ‘Incomplete,’ we’re giving everything on stage.”
Nick Carter hinted that the show’s setlist will mix classic hits with some new surprises. “We’ve been working on some new material that we’re really excited about. It might not be an album yet, but fans will definitely hear something fresh this summer.”
The group also made it clear that while the demand for a Netflix or streaming documentary has been strong—especially following the popularity of music documentaries from Taylor Swift and Beyoncé—they are choosing to keep this tour “camera-free,” to maintain a more personal and organic connection with fans.
“We know fans love the behind-the-scenes stuff,” said Howie Dorough, “but this time, it’s about being present. No filters, no edits—just the real us.”
The Backstreet Boys’ enduring popularity spans generations, and this tour is expected to sell out quickly. From 90s pop dominance to their continued global relevance, the Backstreet Boys have proven they’re more than just a nostalgia act—they’re still one of the most beloved pop bands on the planet.
As the countdown to summer 2025 begins, fans can prepare for a season of unforgettable music, high-energy performances, and a celebration of timeless hits—no cameras required.
Tour Dates and ticket information are available on the band’s official website and social media platforms.
